Team Rocket is an
organisation of pokémon stealers, lead by Giovanni. They first appeared on Pokémon
in episode two, in the Viridian City pokémon center. Ever since then we've seen
Jessie, James and Meowth in almost every episode, trying to catch that Pikachu. They
are the only members of Team Rocket you see, not including the Boss and another pair that
feature in one episode, Cassidy and Butch. I think that Cassidy and Butch are more
baddie like than Jessie and James will ever be.
Before Giovanni, the leader of Team Rocket was 'Madam Boss', Gio's mother. No one
knows her real name, unsurprisingly. She was in the 'Story of Mewtwo' CD Drama about
Miyamoto...
Miyamoto is Musashi's mother, a member of Team Rocket who worked for Madam Boss.
Miyamoto was sent after Mew, and just after she spotted it, there was an avalanche and
::sniffs:: Miyamoto was never heard from again. Miyamoto had carried a picture
of Musashi with her throughout the mission, and I wish that stupid avalanche had never
been.
Team Rocket are the people who, like Gary, you are supposed to hate. But Jessie,
James and Meowth are much more likable than the other members of Team Rocket you see, and
aren't really evil. You can tell what they are like, as you can with the Boss, but
you can't with Cassidy and Butch, but you can still tell that that pair are unkind.
Jessie and James would never torture a pokémon. |
